Got out for a full day doing a TV show with the Fish Guyz, Capt. George Clark and Capt. Lain Goodwin. We mixed it up catching a bunch of snook and a few redfish early on to start. We then looked for some baby tarpon and found a good handful. Gave it some time and we Capt. Lain caught a couple one of which we got out of the water since he was little and good shots for the TV show. We then caught some more snook and a small goliath grouper. Very good day and fun filming with those guys, I’ll let everyone know when the show airs.
Haven’t been doing much other tarpon fishing this month. The fishing for reds, snook, drum, etc… has been stellar and been getting into some bigger fish too of those species. I have quite a few days open now through into November. It’s an awesome time to fish, although tarpon fishing may not be the greatest it can definitely still be worthwhile, but the other options are very good.
